SHARED - 5 facts about my #erotic #menage #romance set in Cardiff

This week SHARED is on special offer at just 99c/99p so I thought I'd share a few fun facts about the novel. (Available on KU and audio)

But first the back cover information

Struggling artist Ariane Arlington flees the Welsh valleys after exposing her corrupt boss. But when the sun rises she finds herself jobless and homeless in Cardiff city with barely a penny to her name.

She responds to an advert in the local paper—Room to let, wanted, girl to share. What she doesn’t realize is that the two insanely gorgeous guys who live in the penthouse apartment really do want a girl to share, in every sense of the word. Fortunately for Ariane, rent is the last thing on their minds.

She discovers the men are bound together by a turbulent past. Liam, a computer whiz, keeps a painful secret hidden beneath his buff exterior, whilst Quinn, a pioneering neurosurgeon, wonders if he’ll ever meet a woman who can live with his controlling ways. They admit the one thing missing from their lives is a woman just like Ariane, who can handle them both in and out of the bedroom and who, together, they can keep satisfied, loved and most of all, safe.

1 - Inspiration came from an advert in a Cardiff newspaper ROOM TO LET: WANTED, GIRL TO SHARE. I'd just read a brilliant menage a trois and was toying with the idea of writing one of my own, this advert and the idea that the guys wanted to share the girl in and out of the bedroom was what got my imagination kickstarted.

2 - Quinn is the kinkiest out of the two guys. Perhaps that's because his serious job as a neurosurgeon means he works hard and plays hard. Near the end of SHARED he buys a stash of sexy toys for him and Ariane to play with.

3 - Cardiff is no accident, I live nearby! The penthouse apartment in Cardiff Bay is a real one and whenever I go past it I think of Ariane, Liam and Quinn living there and getting up to all kind of sexy fun.

4 - Quinn being a doctor was easy for me to write as I'm a nurse.

4 - SHARED was my first full length novel and took 6 weeks to write. It was first published by Ellora's Cave and was one of their best sellers the year it was released.

5 - Mr H came up with the title for SHARED TOO - I'm still not convinced I like it but I didn't want to hurt his feelings! I love the story though, ten years on it was fun to play with the ups and downs of a threesome relationship.
